Wine Description This Auslese is simply magnificent for the purity, length, depth and balance of its botrytized honey, fruit aromas and acidity. This big mouthful wine shows great texture and weight. The wine features a very pleasant combination of botrytized honey and fruit aromas, with wonderful underlying acidity. On the palate it displays very gentle and moderate flavor, fine and silky smooth, leaving a mouthwatering impression on the finish. If you drink it now, you will be surely impressed by its astonishing purity, and this is a superb wine to lay away for a decade or so. We recommend to drink it with friends or at any casual occasions. |

Stefan Fischer Estate
Stefan Fisher Estate has a ten-generation of wine making history. The vineyards of the estate are same as those of the most reputable names in Mosel and include the sites of Nu¦Âberg and Burglay Felsen at Mosel. The terroir consists mainly of slates, which absorb heat very well and provide ideal conditions for Riesling with raciness and minerality.
As a trained winemaker and oenologist, Stefan Fischer particularly values "viticulture close to nature." Instead of producing large quantities, he focuses on smaller harvests that produce high quality.
Stefan Fischer has already won many awards in both state and federal competitions and is considered at the forefront of a group of up-and-coming young Mosel vintners.
